Not really organic
I loved the style of these sheets and was willing to pay a lot for organic cotton, figuring my child would be sleeping on them for several years. However, the product that arrived looked like the picture, but it did not say "Organic" anywhere on the package. In fact, it just said "natural cotton." I contacted customer service asking if the same sheets were available in organic cotton, but the woman I spoke to was unable to tell me and just said I should return them. I'm disappointed, but I'm not going to pay $40 for sheets that aren't organic when there are plenty of nice, non-organic styles available for less than $20.

Warning: False/Deceptive Product Labeling - NOT ORGANIC!
As my wife and I have been preparing for the birth of our first child, we have made many purchases from Amazon for our nursery. The latest was this SwaddleDesigns crib sheet, which is described as "Organic Cotton Flannel" in the title, product description, and in the second product photo (you can see a small, round label in the top right corner stating "100% Certified Organic Cotton"). Naturally, when I received the crib sheet, I expected to see this label and additional info related to the material being certified organic (i.e., the certifying body that certified this product). I was surprised to see no such label or information anywhere on the product packaging. In fact, the only mention of the material states that it is made "using 100% premium preshrunk cotton flannel." No mention of organic here either. The only mention of "organic" is on the tiny UPC bar code description used for retail/inventory control purposes.

With a due date...
Beautiful, but shrinks quite a bit
I asked for two of these sheets and loved them when I first got them. They are thick and soft and beautiful. I use them with my IKEA Gulliver cribs and they look very fresh and modern. Color and pattern go with almost everything as well. The problem? After a few uses, they shrank so that putting them on the mattress requires lots and lots of stretching (and huffing and puffing) I have two different brands of mattresses, a Likekind organic mattress, and an Organic Grace mattress. Maybe they are a bit thicker than other mattresses, but the sheets are tight on both, and barely fit on them. I've never washed them with hot water, just warm water and cold rinse. I also have tadpoles organic sheets and those still fit well after the same washing treatment.
