disappointed
I recieved this bedding a few weeks ago, and was initially very pleased. We painted the nursery in colors to match and was very excited to get it set up. My excitment however ended when I washed it for the first time. The red accent fabric on the comforter bleed all over the white parts and now all the white parts are pink. I washed it according to the directions, used cold water gentle cycle, and I even washed it three more times to see if it wouls get better, every time it just got more pink. I am returning it and taking my chances that a second one will not due the same. I would not be doing this however, we have purchased all the accesories and painted and decorated the room to match. In order to exchange it i must return the entire 6 peice set even thought everything is washed and ready to go (curtains hung ect.). The other problem is that it will take at least a week and a half to get the new set and I'm due it two weeks. I was really looking forward to having the nursery done...

Love this bedding!
My husband and I recently purchased this bedding set before reading the Amazon reviews. After reading the reviews, I was really nervous about washing the bedding and having the red bleed everywhere. So, I took a leap of faith and purchased Shout Color Catcher and washed the bedding according to the washing instructions and added a few sheets of the Shout Color Catcher in the wash. It was amazing! All the red got on the color catcher and not on the bedding! I was so excited I didn't know what to do! I knew that I had to come on here and let everyone know that if you use the Shout Color Catcher and follow the washing instructions, your bedding will turn out great!!!
the burgandy color bleeds!
I so far have only washed the sheets,dust ruffle, diaper bag,& valance and the burgandy trim has bleed everywhere. I haven't washed the bumper or comferter yet. I wish I had read the one review about it bleeding for her but I bought this at Kohl's & didn't notice it on here first. I had bought the hamper and an extra sheet online from another company and I know I won't be able to return the extra sheet, maybe I can return the hamper if it don't cost to much to ship it! I also have everything planned according to this bedding, the curtain colors and monkey items. The paint is neutral so that's no biggie. I don't want to deal with this set anymore, even though it's so cute! Why put something that bleeds on baby bedding?! That just puts more stress on us pregnant moms that don't need it!
